ABOUT US

RDG was founded by current and former human trafficking law enforcement investigators who realized that modern law enforcement is under-funded, under-equipped, and under-staffed to provide the attention necessary to combat human trafficking as it exists in society today.

The founding members of RDG sought to use private donations and private sector expertise to rescue victims and end modern day slavery.

In 2021, a founding member of RDG was offered proceeds from an anti-human trafficking fundraising group; however, because law enforcement are not legally allowed to accept "benefits" from private citizens, he was unable to use the funds in the battle against human trafficking. An obvious solution to the legal red tape was for the charitable organization to use the funds itself, in the fight against human trafficking.

There are several areas in which RDG provides assistance for victims of human trafficking. First, investigators with RDG locate and recover of trafficked persons from their traffickers.  RDG staff also facilitate victim transportation to safe shelters and coordinate with victims services organizations. RDG also provides recovered victims with immediate necessities and comforts including meals, clean clothes, and basic hygiene supplies. When RDG isn't rescuing victims, their members are able and qualified to assist law enforcement with intelligence gathering, and anti-trafficking demand suppression operations that target both traffickers and buyers in the sex slave trade.
